Use your Voice to command your Phone

A sample user interface of Voice Access application.

Google has recently launched a beta version of their Voice Access that allow users to operate their phone just by using their voice. This application will allow people who are visually or physically impaired to completely maneuver  their phone. This can also help in an everyday situation where you can’t touch your phone like driving or cooking.

Using this service, the user can command their phone like for example “open Chrome” or “Go home”. You can also navigate to the entire application by saying “Click next” or “Scroll down”.

This service is currently available in a beta mode. As of now, Google has currently closed its beta testing for new users, but we are expecting a public roll out in the near future.
